Full Job Description
We are seeking applications from intermediate - Senior QS’s (5 + years experience) looking to work for a very busy BOP residential developer .
This is a great opportunity to join a very forward thinking residential building firm looking to grow their QS team. This role will be covering their standalone residential homes and multi unit townhouses, so experience in residential or commercial developments would be looked up favourably. For the successful candidate you will be expected to price and prepare estimates and do full contracts administration for new builds from architectural and engineering; specifications, designs and drawings.
You will also be a part of a fun and supportive culture within a positive atmosphere which will provide a good challenge and allow you to succeed. This organisation has a very healthy pipeline of new build work ahead on the land they have developed and already sold along with other projects in the pipeline.

To be considered for this role:

• Have at least 5 years experience in a QS position within the NZ residential or commercial building sector
• NZ Diploma, Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Be a strong communicator as you will be dealing with a wide range of people including internal Project Managers, Sales people, admin staff along with customers and suppliers
• Strong Excel capabilities
• Ability to deal with multiple projects
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Good sense of humour
