    are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany with an immediate start.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Have 5+Years’ experience as a construction cost manager.
  • Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects with varied contracting strategies.
  • Have experience on Pharma, Oil and Gas or Heavy industrial projects.
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a Quantity Surveying or similar relevant construction discipline.
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written in English and ideally German.
  • Necessary Visa required to work in Germany if applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce full quantities measure / estimates to provide client with detailed budgets.
  • Actively participate in the tender/bid process from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting.
  • Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
  • Negotiate and agree costs with trade contractors in line with budgets and detailed design.
  • Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken.
  • Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to the client.
  • Support quick and clear client decisions through excellent cost management documentation and timely communication.
  • Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
  • Foster top performance and growth for team members via excellent mentorship and leadership.
