Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist the Project Manager and Planning team in supporting the planning and execution of construction projects which primarily focuses on quantity surveying tasks while also providing valuable assistance in various aspects of project planning and coordination related to the material take off and work front and variation quantities.

Specific Role:

  • Conducting detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications.
  • Estimating material, labor, and equipment costs required for construction projects.
  • Reviewing and verifying contractor claims and change orders related to quantities.
  • Monitoring project costs and providing regular updates to the Lead Planner and Project Services Lead.
  • Collaborating with the planning team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Assisting in the coordination of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines.
  • Providing input on project planning and scheduling to optimize efficiency and resource utilization based on the achieved production norms.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in any Engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas offshore platform projects
  • Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc.
  • Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
