Description:

The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our successful equipment Service Team in Poland.
This will be a full-time mobile position within the Mazowieckie and Lodz regions. You will have the opportunity to provide technical support to our customers in the research and science, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. What are we looking for:
Education: Technical education (electronics, automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, etc.).
Experience: Experience in technical services, engineering (in chemical or pharmaceutical environment preferred).
Collaboration Tools: Driving license cat. B, Good written and spoken English and Polish, SEP qualification certificate for voltages up to 1kV

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on servicing experience in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while keeping customers’ needs in mind.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibits initiative, attention to details, with a “can-do” attitude and willingness to be hands-on.
  • Committed to the highest standards of customers satisfaction and providing the ultimate customer experience.
  • Engineering studies will be an asset.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

  • Warranty and post-warranty repairs of laboratory equipment.
  • Equipment and instruments installations, professional service, technical advice, and customer application trainings at customers’ site.
  • Validation and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Assistance in offering replacements and parts as well as service complaints.
  • Reviews product specification and technical documents
  • Maintain documentation and records related to performed service.
  • Triages and resolves customers’ technical issues related to quality, applications, products, and delivery systems.
  • Acquiring new customers, maintaining, and developing cooperation with existing customers in the work area

Working conditions:
The working environment is a home office. The duties of this position require travel to customer production facilities and laboratories also international travel for training may be required.
