R&D Internship – Bern, Liebefeld – 6 months

Indeed, our day-to-day work, above and beyond our core business, involves raising standards of care for pets, ensuring the potability of water serving billions of people, and guaranteeing the good health of livestock.
Our ISO-certified subsidiary in Bern currently employs a total of 40 people in research and development, production, logistics, packaging, and marketing. In our small research and development department, we develop new immunodiagnostic tests and improve existing tests for our Livestock, Poultry and Dairy division.
This is a full-time fixed-term internship position based in our laboratory in Bern, Switzerland available from Spring 2024 onwards, for a minimum period of 6 months.

Be supervised by a project manager and work alongside another laboratory technician.
Work in the laboratory in compliance with good laboratory practice (GLP basics)
Plan and carry out laboratory experiments.
Analyze data and present them in both written and oral form.
Participate in the daily routine work of the laboratory (e.g. upkeeping and maintenance of the equipment)
