Description:
Our client is a global leader in Haute Horlogerie, the artistry of watchmaking, this group operates through various Houses and Manufacturing Units. The brand’s collections include iconic names, representing Artistry and craftsmanship which shine through their exquisite guilloché dials, enamel work, and gem-setting work. Their cutting-edge industrial infrastructure employs approximately 8,000 individuals, with a majority based in Switzerland. To enhance the ongoing performance of their watches and maintain state-of-the-art technological capabilities, the Group’s industrial leadership is reinforcing its Research & Innovation team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Background: Possess an Engineering Degree or a Master’s Degree in Material Management, ideally complemented by a Ph.D.
- Specialization: Have a specialization in materials, ideally in metallic alloys.
- Familiarity: Be familiar with metal matrix composites and technical ceramics.
- Experience: Have recognized first-hand experience in leading research projects in an industrial or academic setting.
- Experimental Campaigns: Capable of successfully conducting experimental campaigns and analyzing the results, with a particular interest in watchmaking and the innovation process, as well as a penchant for fieldwork.
- Orientation and Skills: Result-oriented, dynamic, and organized, with a good ability to synthesize and propose new ideas.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess good interpersonal skills, demonstrate ease in writing, and have strong communication abilities.
- Language Proficiency: Be comfortable in both French and English, and enjoy sharing knowledge within collaborative and constructive teams.
