Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Operations Lab Assistant (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) at Reckitt, you are on the frontline of transforming ideas into reality. Your scientific talent will be crucial in developing new and existing products to meet and exceed our rigorous standards. Your work will contribute to the resilience and advancement of our ambitious portfolio, within an environment that values growth and learning.
Focusing on aerosols and polishes, you will deliver reliable technical support and laboratory work to assist and drive Aircare projects and initiatives from concept to market launch.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement formulation/device feasibility work, analysis, validation, stability testing, industrial trials and dossier preparation.
  • Read, understand and apply SOP/ GLP protocols with regards to proper operation, standardisation & maintenance of lab equipment and accurate laboratory notebooks.
  • Ensure development elements such as production of lab samples and samples for consumer testing, performance tests and claim support are carried out efficiently.
  • Ensure that all activities conform to legislative, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements, including the adoption and tracking of laboratory best practices.
  • Understand the Product Development Process and manage new and existing product developments with the support of the team.
  • Drive the enhancement of R & D laboratory procedures and best practises, including documentation and reporting.
  • Suggest and implement minor improvements to established techniques, systems, or processes to optimise performance and costs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply and other functions to accomplish objectives.
