Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work to incorporate the latest quantum design and analysis ideas into existing EDA solutions. Possible projects include:

  • Extending the workflow in Circuit sim and QuantumPro with new features to enhance the quantum design of superconducting and other types of qubits
  • Translating from the EDA domain into and out of Hamiltonian representations
  • EM/Circuit technology enhancements
  • Creating a quantum PDK with layout, components, and models for quantum foundries such as superconducting and trapped ions
  • Creating compelling examples of superconducting and other types of qubits

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with EDA software development for EM and/or Circuits OR PhD in Computational Electromagnetics
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related fields
  • Solid background in computational electromagnetics (MOM, Finite Element, etc)
  • Strong C++ programming skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microwave Engineering
  • Growth Mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • A result-driven, self-motivator able to follow the Agile software development process
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to deliver results

Desired skills:

  • Understanding of SPICE simulator and Netlists
  • Knowledge or experience in Device Modeling is a plus

California Pay Range: MIN $ 132,330.00- MAX $242,000.00
Washington Pay Range: MIN $ 132,330.00 - MAX $ 220,550.00
Colorado Pay Range: MIN $ 122,530.00 - MAX $204,220.00
New York City Pay Range: MIN $ 145,200.00 - MAX $ 242,000.00
