R&D Specialist (m/f/d) for CDS and Biocompatibility

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for reprocessing (CDS – Cleaning, Disinfection, Sterilization) of medical devices with respect to efficacy and material compatibility within product development and life cycle management
• Responsible for biocompatibility/biological safety of medical devices within product development and life cycle managements
• Preparation of documentation for the aforementioned fields of responsibility
• Cooperation with external suppliers in the field of reprocessing validation and biocompatibility of medical devices
• Transfer of all results to other interface functions (Instruction for Use, Verification/Validation)
• Act as internal and external consultant in diverse interfaces (e.g. other departments, Customers)
• Screening and efficient implementation of all related standards and according to state of the art

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Microbiology or equivalent
• Relevant experience in reprocessing and/or biocompatibility of medical devices or in a regulated and highly industrial or scientific environment advantagues
• Some experience in the cooperation with external suppliers and other cooperation partners
• Reading and understanding of technical drawings
• Good written/verbal English skills as well as German language skills
• Good MS Office skills
• Extensive understanding of quality needs
• Problem solving and communication skills
