Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years with an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years’ experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Self-directed; ability to manage and own machine assembly process with minimal supervision.
  • Full understanding of machine design and assembly process. Ability to make recommendations to electrical and mechanical designs.
  • Experience with medical device business and quality systems and processes.Ability to identify and acquire necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and tools for specific projects.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Assemble various types of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling from mechanical and electrical drawings. Test, debug, and modify equipment to customer specifications.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assemble complex mechanical and electrical assemblies. Ability to make or modify parts as needed.
  • Wire complex electrical panels, physical mounting of devices, etc.
  • Debug assembled and existing equipment, manage I/O checkout.
  • Participate in equipment design reviews, make and document design recommendations and changes during machine assembly.
  • Estimate equipment assembly time and maintain schedule adherence.
  • Assist and Mentor Build Technicians I, and II.
