Description:

R&D Test Laboratory and Compliance Specialist
Will you help bring the framework of our test laboratories to the next level, in parallel with ensuring compliance of our products?
Here is your opportunity for an important role in a great team of 8 experienced and skilled colleagues in the Nilfisk Test Laboratory & Prototyping team based in our global R&D center in Hadsund.
The team’s overall responsibility is to verify - through tests - that product designs and technologies meet or exceed their specification requirements and our customers’ needs.
Our ambition is to continuously maintain and improve our way of working and the test laboratory capabilities and equipment.
We are an informal team build on openness, trust, and empowerment of each employee.
We care about each other, and we lift the bar as one team.
Are you motivated by continuous improvement of our test maturity? Then join us!
As the coming R&D Test Laboratory and Compliance Specialist, your focus will be to contribute to continuous improvement of our test laboratories.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Participate in the continuous development of the test laboratories through exploring and applying new opportunities.
  • Develop, improve and align standardisation of test methods, instructions, procedures and documentation.
  • Define, align, and implement the next generation test systems.
  • Arrange maintenance and calibration of existing laboratory assets – to ensure proper and reliable operation of the equipment.
  • Support development, implementation and training of new test equipment and instructions. This includes identifying safety concerns and possibilities of automation.
  • Support reliable tests through driving Measurement System Analysis.
  • Secure correlation between requirements from technical standards and Test Instructions.
  • Support our R&D projects with interpretation of standards into product requirements.
  • Co-operate with 3rd party test laboratories to get new products certified.

Your first project will be to fulfil our ambition of getting our test laboratory approved as a 3rd party compliance satellite by creating and maintaining procedures, verifying that we have the required test setups and calibration level as well as building a trustful cooperation with our partner.
Passionate Test Laboratory Specialist who enjoys a wide variety of tasks
We imagine that you have a degree as engineer or similar, but this is not a requirement – your personality and attitude is what we care about the most.
It would be an advantage if you have experience with procedures/systems/documentation.
We also imagine that you can read and interpretate relevant regulations and standards – and capability and interest in learning and developing new test systems.
If you have experience with ISO 17025 it is a significant advantage, and knowledge of test laboratory tools and measuring devices as well as experience with Measurement System Analysis is also advantageous.
Written, and verbal communication skills in both English is a requirement, as our corporate language is English. Most likely you can communicate short and accurate in writing.
Also, theoretical knowledge on flow, pressure and measurement technology and the ability to apply it in practise will be highly advantageous.
We offer you:
A diverse job with a possibility to be deeply involved in defining the future framework of our Test Laboratories. You will have the freedom to plan and prioritize activities – and as member of our test team you can look forward to having major influence covering our total test setup and the shaping of your own job.
