R&D Test Technician

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and technically minded individual to join our growing Research and Development Department as an R&D Test Technician. The successful candidate will assist the team in the development of a variety of Rubberatkins products through part testing for high pressure and high temperature environments.
You will work closely with members of the Testing Lab and Engineers carrying out all aspects of product testing from rig design and assembly to test report preparation and involvement in failure investigations.
The successful candidate will either hold qualifications at NQ/HNC/HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or related subject or have demonstrable experience in a similar role. Attention to detail and ability to work within a fast paced environment is essential along with the ability to problem solved and solution find in a practical engineering environment.
It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience in using hydraulic/pneumatic equipment and experience of performing similar product testing and recording test results.
This role will cover a two shift pattern, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, rotating on a weekly basis.
