R&D Testing Assistant/ Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The job incumbent will be responsible for supporting the R&D department in various activities, which include the following:

• Support R&D activities for new membrane product or production process improvement.
• Involve in different project-related R&D activities like wastewater treatment, desalination, drinking water treatment, etc.
• Support and perform experiments for membrane characterization and evaluation.
• Carry out qualification tests and analysis for raw materials and products.
• Maintenance and calibration for some of lab equipment.
• Literature search for product development and relevant area.
• Provide reports and updates for R&D activities.
• Other related duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Chemistry or equivalent
• Familiar with handling practice of chemicals
• Independent in performing experiments
• Good team player, self-driven and meticulous
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
