Your Role
During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company’s different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you – your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your career @ ZEISS.
Possible tasks within the program:
- experience the challenges in series production & sustaining of actuators & sensors
- learn the challenges of technical supplier development and interaction with suppliers
- get to know the mechatronics system qualification processes it’s challenges from process engineering
- experience the lead of a small project team and learn to use the 8D method to solve issues
Your profile
- Completed field of study in Mechatronics- , Mechanical engineering or similar, favorable knowledge also in micro system technology
- Practical experience gained through an compulsory/mandatory internship, favorable in precision engineering and mechanisms in development in high tech industry
- You show initiative, motivation, a desire for personal responsibility and willingness to learn
- Proven team spriti as well as extramural commitment
- You are not afraid to overcome demanidng project dasks and their challenges
- Flexiblilty to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program
- Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken
