R&D Verification Engineer

Our team, Modular Private Network Products & Services R&D is a Nokia team that creates cloud-native 4G/5G private wireless products and solutions for the enterprise market segment. Our customers are within various sectors of companies looking for private wireless solutions. We are addressing their needs with economic products and solutions tailored to the expectation of the specific segment.

As part of our team, you will:

• Participate in Modular Wireless Network verification activities in an end-to-end environment (including Radio, IXRe, CMU, EVC and even MXIE products)
• Drive test planning of regression and new features
• Write, execute and analyze end-to-end and robustness test cases (manually as well in automated manner)
• Plan and configure test environment setup
• Over time involved to EME rota services
• Create and review solution release level artifacts

The more skills you have the better, the rest you’ll enjoy learning with us:

• Knowledge within 4G/5G mobile network technologies, functions and standards (primarily in Core, ideally also in Radio segment)
• Integration experience, working with complex systems
• Hands-on Linux and general troubleshooting experience
• Telco (experience with CMU), routing protocols and interfaces knowledge (direct experience with IXRe)
• Knowledge of Testing concepts and strategies (owning any level of ISTQB exam)
• Testing experience (automated or manual)
• Customer Communication skills
• Fluent Business English, both spoken and written
