Description:

LSEG embarked on a multi-year Finance Transformation journey.
We are delivering our Finance Vision by redefining the way we work to build value and deliver balanced growth for the business. The Program shall drive efficiency and improve benefits on Billing, Accounting, Finance Operations and Reporting for LSEG by moving to a single Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management supplier. This involves a greenfield ERP implementation allowing LSEG to embrace the latest cloud offerings and bring a future-proof platform.
PURPOSE: as part of LSEG’s ERPM Program, R2R Processes, Controls and Change Manager is responsible for assisting in the design of outstanding Record to Report processes, support Control team in the definition of the embedded controls and provide help with the change management activities.
This role is a hybrid working role, with a blended approach of home and office working and is location agnostic.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Working experience in end-to-end Record to Report processes; including, but not limited to, month end close, multi ledgers accounting, sub-ledgers, revaluation, intercompany, reporting and consolidation.
  • Experience in controls framework.
  • Ability to understand teams impacted by future changes and help such teams navigate them.
  • Knowledge about Cash Out (Purchase to Pay) processes: PO´s, requisitions, receipts, invoices, payments, employee expenses, etc.
  • Knowledge about Cash In (Order to Cash) processes: customer contracts, sales orders, invoices, revenue recognition, bad debt, collections, WHT taxes, etc.

Main Responsibilities & Skills :

  • Act as a subject matter authority providing mentorship related to record to report and help framing the key design decisions.
  • Agree new controls to be implemented and ensure the new framework is aligned with the group risk appetite.
  • Recommend and implement automation opportunities, to reduce manual intervention and errors.
  • Challenge some of current practices and try and standardise, whenever possible, processes and controls between the two heritage businesses.
  • Be an ambassador for Beacon programme in the location.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
