Radiographic Assistant

To undertake a wide range of direct care, film handling and administration duties. The postholder will be part of a small team responsible for the processing and sorting of mammographic images and assisting radiographic staff undertaking interventional breast procedures.

To work as part of the multidisciplinary team preparing and managing mammographic images. Correctly prepare mobile clinics and ensure imaging is returned and uploaded to the PACS system. Assist members of the mammography team undertaking interventional breast procedures. To assist in stock level maintenance and co-ordination of items sent to CSSD. Prepare clinic documentation and correctly input into IT systems

Working in the Pennine Suite you will work as part of the Multidisciplinary team undertaking a wide range of direct care, image handling and administration duties. Responsible for the preparation of stock and mobile clinics , ensuring mammographic images are correctly uploaded to the PACS system. You will assist Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners undertaking interventional breast procedures and assist with patient aftercare
