Description:

We are looking to recruit a full time receptionist to join our reception team within the Radiology Department.
The role will encompass dealing with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff by face to face and telephone; subsequently you will require excellent communications skills. A flexible approach to this role is essential to ensure the demands of the service are met.
As part of the team you will be registering patients onto the departments RIS system whereby accuracy is essential.
Working knowledge of all common computer applications including word is essential, as you will be required to carry out a wide range of transactions and associated data input. Specialist training will be given on ‘in house’ systems.
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 5pm. Cover at Rugby St Cross maybe required in this role.

Act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors dealing with routine enquiries and act as necessary liaising with others as appropriate.
Booking in patients for their appointments.
Processing of referrals in line with Departmental guidelines.
Maintain an efficient and comprehensive administrative service, including photocopying, providing support to the departments and other team members as requested.
Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. These systems may include IPM, CRRS, Opera, CRIS, Ultra, Respond, IMPAC etc.
Maintain both manual and electronic filing systems and databases, as required by the department and Trust policies, ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately archive.

Assist with training new team members in Trust operational systems and department procedures.
