QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND SKILLS

Education: Higher Secondary School Certificate & Certificate in Nursing is preferred.
Experience: 2- 3 years’experiencedirectlyrelated to theduties and responsibilities specified.( Patient Aid)
Licensure: Minimum one year
Language: Proficiency in English and Arabic Languages.
Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and DIC computer system.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

To assist DIC staffs for ensure a high quality service to patients. To provide all the support required and act as a liaison between the patient and radiology staff, between the hospital staffs and radiology staffs.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• Strictly follow the hospital’s patient identification policy
• Ensures patient/client confidentiality is maintained at all times in accordance with organizational policy.
• Administrative and clerical duties include, answering the telephone, sending procedure email link to patient.
• Covers the clinical reception desk as needed. To take telephone enquiries in an effective, polite manner and refer on to relevant staff, as appropriate.
• Organizes pottering services under the direction of the Radiographers. Assist the X-Ray porter if required.
• Maintain stock levels for general consumables.
• Works as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care.
• Performs additional functions related to clinical and clerical activities as needed.
• Communicate with clients in a soft and respectful manner
• Strictly follow the departmental policies.
• Maintain the all department documents files.
• Sending, receiving, and filing all official paperwork on time.
• Assure people centered care
• Ensures quality and patient safety practices in DIC.
• Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs
