Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is home to a busy radiology service based at Christchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary centre in the South Island. The service also encompasses several other sites including Christchurch Women - s and Burwood hospitals. Our new hospital houses state of the art equipment and offers a varied case mix including local and regional, general and subspecialty work. Our mix of general and subspecialty trained radiologists work closely together with a supportive team culture being a strength of our service.
Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. It weaves the functions of the 20 former District Health Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuring continuity of services in the health system.
As an organisation we deliver health services to the almost 600,000 people that live in the Canterbury region. We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring our partnership with Māori are at the forefront of all our conversations.

GĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We offer 12-month radiology fellowships in:

  • Abdominal
  • Chest
  • Musculoskeletal
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Neuroradiology
  • Interventional

You will work alongside a motivated team of Radiologists who support a progressive tertiary service in a beautiful location. This intake is for our 2026 Fellowship. To be considered for this role you will need to eligible to gain registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
