Job Summary and key responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing client portfolios.
  • Authorisation of all business rates, Council Tax & BID Levy demands.
  • Efficient liaison with the client Accounts Team to ensure correct payments toLocal Authorities.
  • Liaising with Asset Managers/Property Managers to ensure liabilities arekept to a minimum.
  • Management of refunds from Local Authorities.
  • Reconciling of payments and credits on River Lake.
  • Provision of reports for budgeting purposes.
  • Liaising with clients, Billing Authorities and Valuation Office Agency.
  • Liaison with the Business Rates Mitigation Team to ensure all vacant unitsare included in the mitigation scheme.
  • Creating, managing and updating of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent telephone manner and exercising initiative and organisational skillsin actioning same.
  • Undertake ad-hoc activities within the scope of these responsibilities, whichare requested by management from time to time
