WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a professional and experienced Raw Material Scheduler to join our growing Supply Chain team. As a Raw Material Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of primal cuts, maintaining supplier relationships, and overseeing inventory control to support our production needs.

Required experience/expertise to succeed as a Raw Material Scheduler will include:

• Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, preferably within the meat industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Plan and execute orders for primal meat requirements based on production schedules and inventory levels.
• Ensure timely delivery of primal cuts to meet operational needs.
• Monitor and adjust orders to align with changing production demands and market conditions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Monitor and control use-by dates to ensure product freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
• Implement inventory management strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock turnover.
