Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time RBI Engineer - EIT to fulfill a long-term contract role with a distinguished energy company specializing in synthetic crude production from oil sands. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in updating equipment strategies.

  • Location: Fort McMurray, AB
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday| 8 hours/day
  • Job type: Full-time | Contract

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update equipment strategies for fixed equipment.
  • Evaluate damage mechanisms based on process conditions and inspection history to determine probability of failure and provide recommended mitigating actions.
  • Collaborate with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations, and process technical teams for equipment strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineering License with APEGA
  • Good knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Ability to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives
  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
