QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with the design and development of single page web applications
- Experience in React.js and its core principles such as React patterns, state management libraries (such as Flux or Redux), Props drilling, data sharing among React components
- Experience with JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Less/Sass and of any CSS frameworks (Bootstrap or Material Design)
- Experience using RESTful APIs and integration with React.js
- Experience with responsive web design and implementing web accessibility standards in code
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM etc. and data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
- Experience with security best practices and modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
- Expected to co-locate in your designated office/USDC location up to 30% of the time.
- Must live in a commutable distance to or be willing to relocate to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
- Knowledge of Node.js
- Familiarity with other front-end languages and frameworks like jQuery, Angular, and Vue.js
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives for the team
- Develop solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts
