Description:
JOB SUMMARY
This position will act as an agent in real estate acquisitions, relocations, and the management pf state-owned real estate. They will perform special right of way activities to ensure program delivery and property management and other duties as assigned.
This position may have the option to telework part-time. The employee will be required to complete a telework agreement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for Real Estate Representative, applicants must meet the following:
- Two (2) years of experience in the real estate field that includes two or more of the following areas:
- real estate appraisals,
- real estate title investigations,
- purchase negotiations,
- real estate relocations, and/or
- property management relating to leases and/or permits.
Valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minnesota Certified Residential Real Property Appraisal License
- Possession of a Certified General Real Property Appraisal License
- Possession of a Real Estate License
- Notary Public
- Knowledge of highway design sufficient to interpret and relate details to potential buyers.
- Knowledge of the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and its amendments.
- REALMS knowledge
