Description:
The Royal Canadian Yacht Club was founded in Toronto in 1852.The RCYC operates year-round from two facilities: our summer home at the Island Clubhouse and our City Clubhouse in downtown Toronto. With over 4000 Members we have extensive services in Food and Beverage along with Fitness, Sports and Sailing facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to operate computer/phone/fax
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Lifting up to 50lbs or more (repeatedly throughout the course of the shift)
- Must be a team player
- Comfortable working outside and around water as well as in a Professional Kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ordering items and their transportation from loading dock to Island Facility via Barge
- Verifying actual product against packing slip and that items have arrived in good quality
- Unpacking and repacking of food items into appropriate vessels
- Product labeling/rotation using FIFO (first in first out) method
- Ensure the correct storage and safe keeping of bar products
- Break down and removal of all packaging materials
- Maintain inventory levels of bar products and paper goods
- Responsible for all required paper work such as purchase orders, delivery slips, invoices, requisitions and short sheets
