Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries while accounting for incoming goods based on invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott Policy through 3-way match of goods, invoice, and purchase order.
  • Mark received goods appropriately and deliver to respective departments.
  • Monitor incoming goods for quality and timeliness, coordinating with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with HACCP standards, particularly in temperature checks for perishable items.
  • Manage Birch Street orders and inventory reports, notifying Talent Coach of low stock levels.
  • Issue Beverages REQ to departments as needed and uphold Storeroom standards.
  • Assist with monthly stock takes and liaise with other departments for their needs.
  • Process invoices daily in Birch Street system and communicate any loss or damage with management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of contract and procedural information.
  • Manage proper disposal of pallets, cardboard, and trash.
  • Ensure adherence to operational, audit, and control procedures.
  • Oversee purchasing/receiving department in absence of Purchasing Manager to maintain service levels.
  • Assist in compliance with monthly Accounting checklists.
