Description:

RECEIVER/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working in collaboration with Canduct personnel, this position is responsible for supporting the material handling requirements of the receiving, warehouse/inventory, recycle, and production tasks with the manufacturing facility.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • 2 – 3 years receiving within a warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Current transferrable forklift license required.
  • Highly organized to plan your day and prioritize your workload meeting all deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and take full ownership of the job.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly communicate with other team members and customers
  • Strong work ethic and desire to be part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask to meet scheduled and unexpected deadlines
  • Elevated level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while moving from one task to another promptly with smooth transition and efficiency
  • Works well independently or in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete receiving and inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system.
  • Physical count and cross check of receiving material with accompanying paperwork.
  • Labelling of material and move to proper inventory location.
  • Operate forklift in a safe manner at all times.
  • Picking/packing raw materials for customer orders.
  • Investigate and suggest process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Communicate, in a timely manner, low/high inventory items to the buyer.
  • Accurate and efficient delivery of material to production cells.
  • Removal of pallets from production floor to appropriate disposal units.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities related to product, process, and quality.
