ABOUT THE ROLE:

YHA Thredbo is currently seeking a Receptionist/Housekeeper to join the team on a casual basis. We’re looking for someone who is able to support the property with front desk and housekeeping. The front desk/housekeeping team is responsible for ensuring guests are taken care of and the property remains sparkling clean and continues to meet the excellent standards required of YHA properties.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES INCLUDE:

Front desk: Providing excellent customer service to property guests and contributing to the property’s friendly and cheerful atmosphere, answering guest queries and providing helpful local knowledge and recommendations, checking in and out guests and providing them with information that will assist in an enjoyable stay, resolving any guest concerns or disputes and escalating to relevant management when appropriate.
Housekeeping: duties include; refreshing communal spaces, bathrooms and accommodation rooms, kitchens, monitoring and replenishing stock and ensuring our property remains sparkling clean.
