Description:

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure all Patients, Visitors and colleagues receive a courteous, efficient and sympathetic service. To ensure that all data collected is accurate and recorded electronically and in real time. To promote excellent communication skills both verbally and written. To understand and comply with all reception work, procedures, policies and standards set down by the department and the Trust.
To ensure that Trust values are adhered to at all times without exception. To provide an accurate, professional and efficient administration service. To complete and update records on a daily basis using both computerised and manual systems real time. To obtain patient notes as required.
To arrange clinics (departmental & outpatient clinics). To assist clinicians as required checking on x-ray reports To ensure that all telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner (the aim is to answer the telephone after no more than three (3) rings. To assist the Clinical staff at all times to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted delivery of healthcare
