THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

We’re looking for someone who is well organised, punctual, professionally presented, has a keen eye for detail and a “can do” attitude. The role will involve a lot of interaction with both staff and clients so excellent communication skills are a must. Previous reception or administration experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded but not essential!

Responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Brisbane as Receptionist. They will work closely with our other Receptionist, Office Manager and Office Clerks and assist with coverage during their absence. This role will also provide general administrative support for our team of Lawyers as needed. For more junior candidates, we are happy to train and upskill.

Duties of this position involve providing a professional office experience which includes:

  • managing a switchboard and answering queries via email;
  • meeting and greeting clients;
  • assisting with managing meeting room bookings and ordering catering;
  • setting up meeting rooms, which includes the setup of virtual meetings;
  • organising outgoing couriers and taking delivery of incoming couriers/deliveries;
  • ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are always maintained at a high standard;
  • providing general office support including data entry, file management such as opening/closing files and electronic filing; and
  • assisting with administrative tasks as required, including creating and amending documents, sending electronic mail, conducting searches, brief preparation and monthly billing.
