Description:

TEMPORARY RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR

An exciting opportunity to join a great team in Selby. This role is to act as the first point of contact for our Out of Hours patients that will be arriving for appointments.
Due to the nature of the role the hours are not standard office hours, so please check if these are something you can commit to before applying.

SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Experience in a people facing role, ideally reception based.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Friendly and approachable.
  • Great at managing time and reliable.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for visitors.
  • To support the clinical teams working in our services with basic requests.
  • To manage the waiting room area whilst patients wait to be seen.
  • Interaction with patients to provide information, signposting, and advice.
  • To demonstrate a competent level of interpersonal skills.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Completion of administrative tasks as directed.
