POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is responsible for exceptional hospitality to enhance the customer experience. As the hub to all resident, staff, vendor, delivery service and visitor information, by phone, in writing or in person, for current or future services, receptionists are responsible for setting the tone for communication. Maintaining a professional front desk appearance, greeting visitors as they enter the building, answering incoming phone calls to ClarkLindsey and directing inquiries to the appropriate department are all part of the activities that receptionists will encounter during their shift.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with technology such as complex phone systems and database programs, as well as have the ability to remain professional, calm and collected under all circumstances.
Candidates must be passionate about working with people, in particular aging adults.
Hours are Saturday 2:00pm - 7:30pm with the ability to pick up other shifts from time to time.

Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Must be willing to monitor and respond to the emergency call system.
  • Must be able to operate office equipment including computers, copiers, phones, paging systems, and more.
  • Must be able to greet residents, visitors, and employees with a pleasant demeanor and helpful attitude.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
  • Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
  • Must be willing to problem solve during times of high pressure.
  • Must be willing to use multiple schedule systems, including outlook, to coordinate reservations, driver requests, or maintenance orders.
