    The B:HIVE Receptionist role is integral to the delivery of the overall experience of the B:HIVE Community, Event Space, and greater Smales Farm. You create the first impression and shape the type of experience all members and their visitors have whilst at the B:HIVE.
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to support the team and serve as the face of the company. This role goes beyond and beyond a typical receptionist duties. You’ll be part of a welcoming and collaborative team. Expect a busy and challenging position.

Duties will include :

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our members through being a proactive problem solver, ensuring all issues are dealt with promptly and responsibly
  • Ensuring effective, consistent application of all operational systems and processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting the Community Manager in the delivery of the Community Programme, including key events
  • Delivering on all processes outlined in the Front Desk Guide such as room bookings , generating access passes and liaising within clients over the telephone
  • Organising the mail and courier pick up/delivery services, including the delivery of mail throughout the building
  • Ensuring the B:HIVE is always presented to a high standard and sharing responsibility of floor checks
  • Organiisng the shared facilities, including breakout zones, meeting rooms, ground floor and event spaces ensuring they are kept tidy and always presented to a high standard.
  • Supporting the Community & Events Coordinator in the running of the Ground Floor Events space, to include the set-up of the Auditorium, Seminar Room and Board Rooms

Preferred Requirements Include :

  • Punctuality and excellent time management
  • Having a passion to deliver an exceptional service to clients and customers
  • Prioritising workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.
  • Demonstrating initiative and excellent interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on networking.
  • Complying with all employment obligations, and responsibly managing all business resources.
  • Having the ability to trouble-shoot any technology problems (related to Wi-Fi, Nexudus or printing) with members in a friendly manner and to learn competency in solving technology problems – and to escalate to the IT manager only when needed.
  • Demonstrating through own actions a commitment to Health and Safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.
