About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, skilled Front Desk Receptionist. You will be the face of the Bunnings Store Support Office based at Rhodes. You will play the most important role of greeting all internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner. Key requirements to this role include having exceptional people skills, professional presentation and hold experience in delivering high levels of service, whilst thinking on your feet. Like all busy receptionist roles, you need to be flexible and calm, have great initiative and be able to deal with the unexpected whilst always remaining professional and positive.
The role is responsible for answering and correctly diverting all incoming calls, managing building maintenance logs and supporting with all administration tasks, including any ad hoc projects.
To succeed int this role you will have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar administrative corporate role, have a strong customer focus with excellent computer and telephone skills, a good command of the English language and have a ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work within tight timeframes. Attention to detail is a must, as well as working with a positive mind-set. You will be part of the wider finance function so a willingness to assist others and with additional tasks is expected.
This is a full-time 40-hour role -hours between 8.30am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday.

What’s involved:

  • Managing all phone calls that are incoming and manage outbound transfer to the relevant departments
  • Customer complaints triaging and managing correct escalation process.
  • Visitor Management (signing in process experience with Rapid Global will be of advantage)
  • Assist with Collections Ledger
  • Processing of all invoices relating to building management or ongoing maintenance
  • Organisation of reoccurring maintenance
  • Ensure any new contracting businesses are inducted correct prior to onsite work
  • Managing process for team member security access cards
  • Ongoing relationship management with all external stakeholders (Wilson Parking)

To be successful:

  • Proven receptionist experience or a similar heavy customer focused administration role (2 years ideally)
  • You will be a strong relationship builder with a wide variety of team.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult customer queries
  • Strong communication skills, especially verbal; but written is also required
  • Highly personable, punctual, and efficient
  • Some computer literacy skills in MS Word, Excel
  • Ability to pick up new systems and process quickly
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
