Description:

Based on the front desk of a busy clinic on a full time basis, this role will see you as the first point of contact for patients both in person & over the phone. You will play a key role in providing an exceptional patient experience - ensuring each person receives empathetic and personalised care.

Your duties will be varied, and given you will be working as part of a small team we are looking for someone who is happy to be flexible with their tasks & support the broader team as required. Daily tasks will include;

  • Answering phones, greeting patients and making bookings with clinicians.
  • New patient referrals - set up new patients on Genie, following up GP referrals and sending reminders for consultations.
  • Processing payments and following up on outstanding invoices as required
  • Overseeing the clinic email, scanning patient documentation, updating records and general administration tasks
  • General support to the clinicians - follow up calls and communication as required.
  • Assisting to maintain the general presentation of the clinic & facilities available to patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist for this role – someone who has previously worked on a front desk and genuinely enjoys providing exceptional patient care.
You will have a strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems, strong administration skills and be highly organised - we are looking for someone who can ensure a smooth and accurate process for our patients.
Given you will be working as part of a small team, flexibility will be key. We are looking for someone who can work across a range of tasks, is keen to learn and happy to jump in wherever support is needed.
