Description:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Receptionist for our Care Center serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. This critical role involves managing the reception area, providing warm and professional assistance, and enuring efficient administrative support for the center. The Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents and their loved ones.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years’ experience in healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provides and maintains front office operations at the Care Center.
- Greets residents, visitors, vendors and other individuals.
- Responsible for receiving patients and visitors and determining their needs and directing them accordingly.
- Answers telephone calls and directs callers to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Provides clerical support to staff.
- Ensures complete and correct capture of all needed patient information at the time of check-in.
- Responsible for all check-in and check-out duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
