Role Overview:
As a Receptionist within Financial Services, you will be the initial point of contact for clients and visitors, embodying professionalism and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a combination of administrative proficiency and interpersonal skills to effectively manage various tasks while ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Managing incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Coordinating appointments and maintaining calendars for financial advisors and staff.
  • Assisting with meeting arrangements and managing conference room bookings.
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Collaborating with administrative team members to support office operations.
  • Upholding confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Professional demeanour and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Knowledge of financial terminology and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
