Description:

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

  • The receptionist provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to an office site.
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Politely greets and answers or refers telephone inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area, and office site by complying with processes and procedures.
  • Updates calendars and schedules meetings.
  • Keeps up to date records of office site reception expenses and costs.
  • Supports the distribution, receipt and sorting of daily mail.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
  • Completes routine tasks and deals with situations and activities that are straightforward in nature.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism and customer focused – customer service attitude.
  • Organization and time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision; ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Telephone skills and hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers and fax machines).
  • Microsoft Office Skills. ills.
