Description:

  • $60,000 per year plus super

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

    The key objective of the Receptionist is to be the first point of contact for ACFS and Labourpower and provide administrative support across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a positive “can-do” attitude, work as part of national team and demonstrate comprehensive administrative experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • Certificate in Business Administration preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain security procedures including log book and issue visitor badges
  • Serve visitors for Labourpower and ACFS by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls for Labourpower and ACFS while providing information as necessary
  • Receive and sort mail, deliveries and couriers
  • Be the liaison for building management and any building repairs that are required for the office
  • Be the liaison for office equipment and repairs
  • Book catering activities including organising lunches and coffees when required
  • Maintain a boardroom meeting diary
  • Book taxis as and when required
  • Maintain cleanliness in all work areas downstairs in the reception area and in the upstairs offices
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area
  • Assist Labourpower with events organising
  • Check mailbox responses for Labourpower feedback, job applications, enquiries and forward to the appropriate person
  • Updating company phone lists for ACFS and Labourpower
  • Suggest process improvements for front desk and associated tasks
  • Assist Head Office teams with tasks
  • Provide assistance to the WHS and compliance team
  • Any other tasks as required by ACFS and Labourpower
