As of today, we are looking for a Receptionist (m/f/d) with a Security Guard IHK Examination according to §34a GewO (Sachkundeprüfung gem. §34a GewO) to work for one of our international clients in Kleinmachnow.

  • Monday – Friday 9 hours per day

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities as a Receptionist:

  • Perform front-of-house duties, greeting staff and signing in visitors ensuring adherence to the Customer’s Visitor Management Policy
  • Create and allocate ID/access badges as well as challenging those Customer staff who are not adhering to related badging policies
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors to the Premises and maintain strong geographically awareness of their local surroundings
  • Takes ownership of the reception service, including events related responsibilities and organization, liaising with Event Hosts pre, during and post Event as single (local) point of contact
  • Always provides excellent customer service
  • Be proficient in answering phones, emails and in using standard IT systems
  • Receives and routes delivered items in line with Customer policy and procedure, including Sorting Hat and Executive Mail
  • Provides general administrative and clerical support
  • Manages high volume lobby while simultaneously keeping reception area organized
  • Arrange for ground transportation as needed
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned, example working very closely with the Security team

Qualifications

Technical Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge in accordance with §34a GewO (Sachkundeprüfung gem. §34a GewO)
  • First Aid Training
  • De-Escalation training
  • Prior Security Industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience in heavy volume customer service
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite and Web. Ideally you have good Microsoft Excel & Word skills
  • Driving licence class B preferred & own car
  • During your communications with clients, you demonstrate your excellent German and English language skills
  • Team player with an enthusiastic, proactive attitude
  • Ability to work both independently, using their own initiative, and within a team
  • Flexible approach to work to suit business needs
  • Ability to go above and beyond to support the Customer
  • Understanding of relevant local laws to aid in effective job delivery
