Description:
Main Purpose of Job To provide an efficient & responsive reception service to NMG patients & the Primary Health Care Team plus undertake related admin tasks. Flexibility will be required in order to cover reception at peak times and there may be the need to work the occasional Saturday morning or cover extended hours (until 8.00pm) Main roles & responsibilities To provide a reception service for all patients reporting to a reception desk including: appointment bookings, prescription requests & other enquiries. To provide a reception service for all external visitors to the Practice. Receive & process any incoming telephone calls into the practice in a timely manner.
Distribute clinical/non- clinical correspondence to Practice members. Issue repeat & acute prescriptions if required following practice protocols. Comply with Practice Health & Safety Policy at all times. Uphold confidentiality at all times.
Assist in any other tasks as requested by Reception/ General Manager. Other duties To attend the following: Staff meetings, in house Best Meetings, Mandatory training, Primary Health Care Team meetings. To undertake & carry out any other reasonable tasks /duties as requested by the Management Team. You will remain professional at all times & communicate effectively with your colleagues, patients and external providers to the Practice
