JOB OVERVIEW

Looking to start a NHS career? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for Receptionists / Office Clerks to join the North Norfolk & Norwich Care Group Administration Team. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the NHS. The successful candidates will build experience working in administration in a supportive and friendly team.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, conscientious, flexible and willing administrator to support the changing needs and demands of our clinical teams, in a wide variety of administrative functions.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with an emphasis on team work. Ensuring a positive service user / carer experience is pivotal to the Receptionist / Data Clerk role.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Call handling, face to face liaison with service users, carers and colleagues alike, data entry, typing, scanning, uploading to clinical systems and other general administrative office duties.
  • Previous experience of Trust IT system (Lorenzo) would be of benefit but not essential as all training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of all Microsoft packages is desirable in the successful candidate.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
  • The hours of work will be between 9am and 5pm.
