About the team:
We are looking for a Receptionist to come and join us! You will be based at one of our Chatham offices and report into the Office Manager. This is an autonomous position that the right candidate can make their own.

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver a first-class reception service and ensure that front of house is maintained to a professional level.
You will be supporting either of our two sites based in Chatham (Dockside and St Marys Island) and will have the opportunity to join an established team that enjoy working and playing together.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all customers
  • Responding to the day to day enquires that come into the shared inboxes.
  • Answering all telephone calls efficiently and in a corporate manner, taking accurate messages or directing calls appropriately.
  • Taking responsibility for all incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining building security by controlling access to visitors and contractors.
  • Working as part of the Property Services team to provide administrative support, complete tasks and assist with compliance reporting.

Flexibility is key in this role to cover our office opening hours between 9am to 5pm, Mon – Fri. This is a 35-hour week and full uniform is available once probation has been passed.
In return for your commitment:

We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £22,000 - £24,000 and a competitive benefits package including:

  • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 12.5%.
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • Previous work experience in a busy Reception or Customer Service facing based role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Ability to work within a busy environment.
