POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital for ensuring smooth phone operations and providing essential support for our personal Injury cases. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. This position is full-time (9am-6pm), in-office, based in D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming telephone calls; determine purpose of callers and forward call to applicable personnel.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate.
  • Answers questions about the firm and provides callers with address, directions and other information.
  • Performs other clerical/administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • A genuine interest and commitment in serving and caring for other people.
  • Strong attention to detail with extreme accuracy and high-quality work.
  • Proficient Computer literacy (Word/Excel/Email).
  • Previous experience in personal injury and/or in a legal setting is highly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
