Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School education or equivalent
  • One to three years of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to multi-task due to interruptions by campus visitors in the middle of working on other tasks.
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly greeting as one of the first points of contact.
  • Must be able to work some weekends.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Greet prospective students visiting campus and others coming to the Office of Admission reception area. Stay up to date on facts about the college to answer basic questions from campus visitors and provide directions to campus facilities. Assist visitors inquiring about admission process and calendar.
  • Manage the Office of Admission reception area and ensure that marketing materials are well stocked, refreshments are available, and the space is presentable and welcoming to guests.
  • Assist with clerical tasks performed by the Office of Admission’s operation staff, including data entry, credential processing, and answering of inbound phone calls. Serve as receptionist for the Sr. Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and assist with expense reporting and calendar maintenance.
  • Serve as a co-supervisor for team of student employees.
