Description:

River Crest Country Club is seeking a Part Time Receptionist. The pay range for this position is $14 - $18 per hour based on verifiable experience.
Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist is responsible for answering telephones, routing incoming calls, logging needed calls, reservation tracking and greeting guests. The Receptionist also provides club information regarding events/schedules and performs administrative duties as assigned.

Schedule would generally be the following:

  • Tuesday & Wednesday - 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Thursday 5:00 pm - Close (approximately 11:00 pm depending on events)
  • Friday 5:00 pm - Close (approximately 12:00 am depending on events)

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, communications and Member relations skills are required.
  • Microsoft Office skills are desired.
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
  • Must be professional in demeanor and appearance.Must have timely, reliable attendance.
  • Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward Members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes Members by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Distributes phone calls and messages to proper department head or area
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Type up daily specials, menus, name tags and menu cards
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions
  • Takes accurate member information for Special Events and other reservations
  • Assists Food and Beverage departments in folding of napkins
  • Assists management in additional tasks needed during down time
  • Assists catering department in creation of marketing posters and fliers for club events
