Description:

Our client in Calgary is currently seeking a detail oriented and customer-focused Receptionist to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, with strong communication and organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar front desk role.
Post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and detail oriented manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate parties.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
Maintain office supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed.
Provide administrative support to various departments as required.
Ad-hoc duties as requested.
