Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to manage their front of house reception to join the team on an initial temporary arrangement with the intention to go permanent. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast paced retail environment and you will be responsible for general office and facilities duties, supporting the broader team. The ideal candidate will have previous corporate office, receptionist or administrative experience, and possess a proactive attitude!

WHAT YOU BRING:

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a receptionist/administration position and posses a determined and proactive attitude. Being the first point of contact for the office, our client is looking for a welcoming individual who has a customer focused and team player attitude at all times. The correct candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and will have exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the professional image of our client’s company. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing the reception area, greeting external guests, handling messages and correspondence promptly, maintaining meeting rooms, managing general administration tasks such as sorting mail and deliveries, and ordering office and kitchen stock. You will also be responsible for assisting with the coordination of office social activities such as weekly catered lunches and monthly birthday celebrations. Additionally, you will be supporting and up-keeping the company’s on-site retail showroom, including ensuring all stock is organised and displayed correctly in line with company standards.
