Responsibilities:

This key role works with internal and external stakeholders to advance the Australian sugarcane industry through research and innovation. We are looking for an exceptional receptionist and administrator who can work autonomously to assist the Brisbane office functions. Specifically, the position will:
Provide reception and general administration support for staff in the Brisbane Corporate office, Brisbane laboratory and regional stations as required.
Stationery, kitchen and catering for the Brisbane office, Brisbane Laboratory, Woodford and Broadwater locations - procurement and account reconciliation within timeframes and delegations.
Ensure premises are kept clean, tidy, secure and is a safe environment to work in at all times – including reception, kitchens, meeting rooms, stationery hubs/printers, common areas.
Travel arrangements and bookings for staff as required.
Assisting Brisbane office staff with meeting room bookings and event coordination, including staff End of Year functions, staff service anniversary functions and other ad hoc functions.
Assist in ordering and administration of SRA uniforms and PPE to all staff.
Assist the onboarding/inductions for new staff to the Brisbane Corporate office – such as Business card and name badge ordering, access cards, etc.
Manage allocation of locker space within the corporate office.
Manage the provision for courier and mail in/out.
Liaise with building management as required.
